The Elpida Village was a delightful retreat for a senior like me. The hotel's serene atmosphere and breathtaking views of Mirabello Bay were truly mesmerizing. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. The nearby beaches were easily accessible, providing a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the warm sun and relax by the crystal-clear waters. Additionally, the hotel's close proximity to local shops, charming restaurants, and a few quaint bars made it convenient for me to explore the surrounding area at my own pace.
While my stay at Elpida Village was mostly enjoyable, there was one aspect that I would have liked to see improved for a better vacation experience for senior guests. The entertainment options provided were quite limited, and I would have appreciated more activities specifically tailored towards seniors.

What an incredible surprise! The information provided was so thorough and easy to find. The all-inclusive package was mind-blowing, with a variety of delicious food options that catered to everyone's taste buds. The panoramic view from the steps was absolutely jaw-dropping, showcasing both the stunning sea and majestic mountains. The addition of a Greek cafe was a super nice touch, offering a unique experience. The daily room cleaning was top-notch. The entertainment throughout the day was diverse and not overwhelming, and the open-air cinema was a fantastic addition. The pool area was a paradise for both relaxation and fun, with different sections that kept things exciting. The staff were absolutely wonderful - so friendly and helpful. We were lucky to have such a great crowd during our stay, which made us cancel our plans to explore Crete and just enjoy the hotel grounds the whole time. The quiet sandy beach nearby was a bonus, and the staff always greeted us with a smile. The rooms were cleaned regularly, and the communal areas were always well-maintained. The variety of food options each day was great, although more choice and clear labels would be appreciated. The pool was warm and inviting, with plenty of sunbeds available. The outdoor cinema was a unique and enjoyable feature. The evening activities were a bit basic and seemed more geared towards other European nationalities, but the daytime activities were loads of fun. There were moments when we loved the hotel so much, especially with our breathtaking two-storey apartment and stunning sea view. The cleanliness and space in the room were impressive, and the furniture was practically brand new. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and vibrant. The large swimming pool was fantastic, and the nearby beaches were beautiful. The area with the pool, playground, and views was a super nice touch, and the receptionist and cleaning staff were kind and attentive. we had a fantastic stay and were pleasantly surprised by how amazing everything was.

I stayed at Elpida Village for 5 nights to explore the east side of Crete. The location was great with easy access to other towns and beautiful beaches within walking distance. The resort had a special charm with its stunning sea view, green spaces, and traditional architecture. The food was well cooked with a local touch and the pool-bar offered refreshing drinks. The staff were friendly, the rooms were cleaned regularly, and there were plenty of sunbeds by the warm pool. The outdoor cinema and varied daytime activities were enjoyable. good value for money and a superb experience on this beautiful island.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The hotel's charming and cozy decoration made me feel right at home. It had a traditional Cretan vibe with its beautiful olive trees and stunning view of the sea from the dining terrace. The general areas were well-organized, providing plenty of seating options to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. As a senior traveler, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with no steep climbs or difficult paths to navigate. It was perfect for a relaxed and comfortable vacation.
I would have appreciated a little more assistance from the staff, especially for us senior travelers. Sometimes, the children working there seemed a bit overwhelmed and not able to provide the personalized attention that older guests may require.

The hotel is located in a peaceful village, with lots of greenery and trees around. the location is perfect, as it is within walking distance to some lovely beaches and half decent restaurants in the area. You can also take a bus to visit Agios, a beautiful city that is worth seeing. the rooms are spacious, clean and have a beautiful view of the Mirabello bay. the breakfast is tasty, with fresh fruits and yogurt.
The all-inclusive package is quite limited, with drinks and snacks being quite poor.
